Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Application Developer / Control-M Administrator with expertise in job scheduling, cloud integration, and operations support. This hybrid role in Chicago involves maintaining and optimizing a large-scale Control-M environment with 7,000+ jobs across various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day operational support for 7000+ Control-M jobs across all environments
• Administer and optimize the Control-M scheduling platform, ensuring minimal job failures
• Develop, test, and implement BAU enhancements, fixes, and new job schedules
• Support end-to-end testing for monthly and major application releases
• Collaborate with functional teams to decommission inactive jobs and maintain platform hygiene
• Identify and act on opportunities to reduce job failures and improve reliability
• Perform regular maintenance activities, support planned outages, and respond to unplanned incidents
• Integrate Control-M workflows with cloud platforms and contribute to automation initiatives
Required Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in Application Development and Control-M Administration
• Strong expertise in job scheduling, monitoring, and incident resolution
• Hands-on experience with cloud integration and Control-M extensions
• Proven ability to manage large, complex job environments
• Experience supporting DevOps and BAU environments
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Chicago, IL
